CHAMOMILE - is a sweet tasting, relaxing anti-inflammatory tea used around the world for its soothing properties. It calms the mind, spirit and tummy, too. Though we have all heard of it and taken it for granted, it is a very potent relaxant. In Spanish it is called manzanilla, or little apple, to describe its taste and appearance.

PASSION FLOWER - Researchers have noted its ability to produce a refreshing sleep without side effects. Is quieting and useful in soothing the nervous system.

WOOD BETONY - Has been used against anxiety. It targets the nervous system and is useful for anxiety and nervous tension associated with headaches and hypertension.

SKULLCAP - This lovely plant grows by lakes and in moist places on the East Coast. It magically soothes the senses and quiets the mind. Over a long period of time it can repair the nervous system and so it is called a nerve tonic.

VALERIAN ROOT - This herb is invaluable for relaxation and for relieving muscle spasm. Just a pinch of it in this tea makes it extra relaxing. It never reacts with other sedatives and, in larger amounts, is used for severe sleep problems and anxiety.

SPEARMINT - This non-stimulating mint is for taste and to relax digestion.
