About Patty
Patty Halter, owner of Patty’s Heart of the Matter Massage & Oils, as a little girl, always wanted to be a nurse when

In order to uplift your Body, Mind and Soul to the optimum level of health, joy and happiness that you deserve, Patty has developed Workshops which help you become aware of natural and gentle yet powerful, "gifts that heal" which surround you each day.
Did
you know?
Touch has become a forgotten language for most
adults. Yet, it is an essential form of nourishment,
comfort and healing. Without the warmth imparted
by touch, no matter how successful we are, we
are likely to feel personal dissatisfaction.
It is all too common for a lot
of us to feel our life is too busy to take time
out for a massage. Or, we feel massage is too
decadent to spend regular money on when in fact
massage is truly preventative medicine.
Evidence
In a recent study in the University of Miami School
of Medicine it has been determined that therapeutic
massage decreases job related stress, anxiety
and increases job productivity. There is evidence
that massage can improve breathing among asthmatic
children, relieve tension headaches, reduce pain,
and boost the immune system. And the list goes
on.
Conclusion
Particularly when used in combination with essential
oils or aromatherapy, massage can produce an exquisite
sense of well being throughout the body, mind
and spirit. Who among us today cannot benefit
from such feelings of comfort, peace and pleasure?
