Improv Quilt Class #1 and #2

  1.       Fabric, yes, fabric. Bring some good size scraps, fat quarters, and/or yardage. And a lot of solids, or fabrics that can mimic solids. Don’t        have a lot of solids? That is okay, I’m sure Patty’s has some for you.
  2.       Miscellaneous bias strips. If you don’t have any, don’t worry. You can make some in class and there will bias strips to share.
  3.       Sewing machine, in working order. Make sure it is clean, oiled, new needle and extra bobbins (filling your bobbins ahead of time makes        more time to be creative).
  4.       Neutral thread. I usually use a gray, depending on what I am working on it varies from light gray to dark gray.
  5.       Scissors
  6.       Rotary cutter. If you are comfortable using a 28mm rotary cutter, bring it. You may find it helpful.
  7.       Straight pins
  8.       Marking chalk, pen or pencil
  9.       Sense of adventure
  10.       Come ready to have fun!
