Improv Quilt Class #1 and #2
- Fabric, yes, fabric. Bring some good size scraps, fat quarters, and/or yardage. And a lot of solids, or fabrics that can mimic solids. Don’t have a lot of solids? That is okay, I’m sure Patty’s has some for you.
- Miscellaneous bias strips. If you don’t have any, don’t worry. You can make some in class and there will bias strips to share.
- Sewing machine, in working order. Make sure it is clean, oiled, new needle and extra bobbins (filling your bobbins ahead of time makes more time to be creative).
- Neutral thread. I usually use a gray, depending on what I am working on it varies from light gray to dark gray.
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter. If you are comfortable using a 28mm rotary cutter, bring it. You may find it helpful.
- Straight pins
- Marking chalk, pen or pencil
- Sense of adventure
- Come ready to have fun!
